When it comes to the threat of deadly pathogens and diseases, prevention is always better than cure. The only way to prevent entry of diseases onto the farm, is to practice good biosecurity. A crucial step in the biosecurity program is disinfection. In this step, you want to eliminate all pathogens that are still present after cleaning. The invisible enemy: they may not be visible, but they are definitely still there.
Intra Multi-Des GA is a widely registered disinfectant for the biosafety of you and your animals. Proven efficacious against a wide range of worst-case-scenario pathogens: bacteria, viruses and yeasts. Together with its unique residual action and wettability properties, Intra Multi-Des GA is the leading disinfectant you can rely on.
Providing your animals with a pathogen free environment to grow and live in, will significantly decrease the amount of antibiotics they need in their lifespan. This will contribute in the battle against antibiotic resistance.

Intra Multi-Des GA is registered in many countries, both inside and outside of Europe, including the Dutch Board for the Authorisation of Plant Protection Products and Biocides (CTGB), the UK Department for Environment Food & Rural Affairs (DEFRA), HALAL and many more. Additionally we have many independent studies on the efficacy of Intra Multi-Des GA, focussing on the most relevant pathogens.
1. Dry cleaning
Sweep the area clean: remove all unattached coarse dirt (manure, dust, spider webs)
2. Wet cleaning
High pressure washing or integrated misting systems to pre-soak all clinging dirt.
3. Detergent soaking
Use a 2 % (1-3%) Intra Foamcleaner concentration, preferably at min. 150 bar, with a foam lance as a thin coating on the surfaces and let is settle. Minimum contact time is 20 minutes, maximum contact time is 1 hour.
4. Wash off
High pressure washing to remove the dissolved dirt. Pay special attention to the pits and other exit points of the water to prevent puddle forming.
5. Drying
Allow the surfaces to dry.
6. Disinfection
Start disinfection with Intra Multi-Des GA

Apply Intra Foamcleaner to the inside and outside of the truck and allow to soak for 10 minutes. Then pressure wash until visibly clean. Pay special attention to the wheels and wheel wells. When all surfaces are visibly clean (and slightly dry), spray 1% Intra Multi-Des GA on all surfaces and allow to dry. Ensure the sprayed surfaces stay wet for at least 5 minutes. Again, pay special attention to the wheels and wheel wells.
Boot dips
Remove all organic matter and dirt from the boots with a brush. Step into the 1% Intra Multi-Des GA bootdip and use a brush or another method to ensure that all surfaces come into contact with the bootdip fluid.
When should I use Intra Multi-Des GA?
Intra Multi-Des GA is a strong, broad-spectrum, disinfectant. It is used as the final step in the total biosecurity protocol: the disinfection step. Intra Multi-Des GA eliminates a broad range of pathogens: viruses, bacteria, yeast and fungi.

Can I use Intra Multi-Des GA in other areas such as the canteen?
Yes, Intra Multi-Des GA is registered in PT02, PT03 and PT04. This includes disinfection in the private and public sector (hospital grade), veterinary hygiene and food and feed area. Prevent direct contact of the product with food/feed.
